On May 12, 2026, the New York State Conference of Local Mental Hygiene Directors commemorated fifty years of advancing New York’s local mental hygiene system through collaboration, advocacy, and shared leadership. This milestone evening brought together Directors of Community Services (DCSs), state partners, former DCSs, and guests to reflect on the Conference’s legacy and look ahead to the next chapter.
