Our Staff

In addition to serving as Counsel to the Conference, Anoush is a partner with the firm of Lippes Mathias, LLP and resides in Burnt Hills, New York. Anoush graduated from Cornell University (B.S., Biology) and received her law degree from the Widener University School of Law (Wilmington, DE). In addition, she has an M.S. (Human Nutrition) from Columbia University in New York City. Anoush has over 30 years of experience practicing health law in private practice and as in-house counsel to hospitals the Capital Region. She also served in roles such as Risk Management Director and Compliance Officer. Throughout her career she has handled all types of mental health proceedings on behalf of hospital inpatient units and has worked with clients to navigate the laws governing alcohol and substance use disorder programs and health care delivery to persons with developmental disabilities which included service on the Surrogate Decision Making panels. Anoush has served on the boards of charitable organizations and is currently the President of the Board of Capital Roots (Troy, NY). She is a member and past chair of the New York State Bar Association, Health Law Section and listed on the 2024 City & State New York’s Health Care Power 100.
