Director of Communications, Francine Sinkoff, is responsible for overseeing communications strategy for the Conference. She serves as editor for CLMHD’s weekly e-newsletter and maintains the agency’s website and social media presence. Additionally, she has helped to develop and implement the Conference’s Onboarding & Continuing Education Program, providing assistance and support to new and established DCSs. Francine also manages CLMHD’s Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor Training Program, an initiative which annually certifies 32 individuals from across the state as new MHFA instructors.

Prior to joining the Conference, Francine spent nine years employed in the communications and development department of the Addictions Care Center of Albany, a community provider of treatment, housing, prevention and recovery services for individuals healing from substance use disorder. She received her undergraduate degree in American Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park and resides in the Capital Region with her husband and son.
