CLMHD Represented on Opioid Panel for NYS Health Plan Association Conference

On Wednesday, November Kelly Hansen, CLMHD Executive Director, participated on a panel for the NYS Health Plan Association's 2020 Conference. The panel provided varying perspectives on the opioid crisis and efforts to bridge the gap between evidence-based medicine, policy and practice. Ms. Hansen was joined by Courtney Hunter, VP of State Policy for Shatterproof, Senator Pete Harckham, Chair of NYS Senate Committee on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, and Dr. Angelia Smith-Wilson, Executive Director of Friends of Recovery-NY.
