Fiscal Briefs
Community mental health finance in New York State is a complex system with component parts interacting and affecting one another in serious ways. The fiscal briefs are detailed analyses of aspects of community behavioral health finance. They are designed to educate new staffs and county/city leadership, to explain options to increase managerial successes and to help anticipate and plan for unintended consequences.
|
Fiscal Shareware Tools
The Technical Assistance Project includes a Financial Management component. The goal of this component is to develop a fiscal manual that supports and educates county/city governments through access to financial management tools, fiscal briefs and other related information. The tools are designed to increase accountability, streamline processes and integrate state reporting requirements so as to alleviate the pressures and time constraints experienced by most county/city fiscal staffs. The fiscal briefs are designed to educate new staffs and county/city leadership about community behavioral health finance and to explain options to increase managerial successes. The Conference of Local Mental Hygiene Directors has engaged Coordinated Care Services, Inc. to develop tools and fiscal briefs on behalf of the membership.
